We appreciate getting credited with “Generation Mono by Nguyen Gobber” in your project descriptions.
The first few characters of Generation Mono were drawn for the 2019 edition of the annual “Next Generation” campaign of the Basel Academy of Art and Design. The character set was later expanded to cover the basic Latin alphabet, including all figures and basic punctuation. Its design is ultra-wide and lends itself to being set vertically, just as it was done in its first application. We decided to offer this typeface as a Pay What You Want font, which can be used in non-commercial and commercial projects. Font use for companies with more than 250 employees requires Extended Licences, which are available on request. The (re-)distribution, (re-)selling, and modification of the font is strictly forbidden.
