Monopol Thin

Monopol is an expressive all-caps typeface with clean, geometric shapes and resolute aesthetics. The typeface features sharp angles and consistent strokes, giving the heavier styles a bold presence and the thinner styles a more elegant and lightweight look. The full family includes five predefined styles (Bold, SemiBold, Regular, Light, Thin) and a variable font, allowing users to adjust the weight precisely. Monopol is ideal for strong headlines, impactful posters, and striking wordmarks. The Bold style was initially released as a standalone typeface in 2020, followed by an additional Thin weight and a separate Kompakt style in 2021. The fully reworked and expanded Monopol 2.0 was launched in 2024.

How does the licencing work?

All licences available here do not allow font use for companies with more than 250 employees.

The Desktop licence allows font files to be installed on a specified number of personal computers (PCs) owned by the licence holder to create documents, static images, print files, non-trademarked logos, non-broadcast videos, and such.

The Web licence allows font files to be embedded via @font-face technology or similar into a single website owned by the licence holder for a specified number of monthly page views (MPV).
